Respect

I can dig it.

WOW

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING 10 STARS

As expected, a joy to watch

The Clock Crew, known for it's unparallelled expertise in the production of flash movies, has produced another movie that's a joy to watch for young and old. StrawberryClock II 2 is definitely an instant classic.

An extremely poor movie

This movie consists of lazily brushed nintendo characters acting like 10 year olds. The animation is shit, save for one or two scenes. It doesn't make sense, the humor came from absolutely nowhere and there was absolutely ZERO sense of continuity. Watching this movie felt like watching a compilation of 3 second clips from various movies, in the end making no sense whatsoever.

Why this is on the front page is beyond me. It has no redeeming qualities.

Extremely poor

You'd have to improve on graphics, storyline, humor and animation in order to appeal to me with this one. The single joke you put in there was executed poorly. The whole "surprise buttsecks" thing you guys have going on has been going on for at least a year or two now, so I think it'd be pretty safe to say you've milked that out a little. Try to move on to something more original instead of just copying a lame joke, thought up by someone else to make matters worse, over and over again.

I suppose this could've been funny with a quicker punchline or something, instead of announcing it a few seconds before you actually get there. Also, an improvement on graphics (not too shabby) and animation (which was the biggest flaw in this movie).

Which brings me to my last point, yeah, the animation. Really, I know frame by frame animation is fucking difficult, but if you're going to use tweens you'll have to learn to use them a little better, and certainly in smaller amounts. Really, did you HAVE to tween the lockfaces as they talked? Nah. The rest of the animation was too slow.

Anyways, I hope you agree with me on some points. If you disagree completely and this movie makes you flop around in between bursts of laughter, by all means go ahead and make more, because then there'd be at least one person happy to see it.

lol

Far too short, annoying music, not that good.

The title could say it all I suppose, but still:

What's the story you're telling here? There's some castle crashers, some annoying music, and a whirlwind. Of sorts. There has to be no storyline.

It looks like you sat down one afternoon and started drawing, without ever thinking of a story or entertainment value. The fact that this passed is strange enough, but a 2.76 score is baffling.

1/5

Cantdoright responds:

Really I didn't think of a story and your pretty much right about sitting down and drawing, but I was hoping to make it longer. Although since it was a project for school I was timed on how fast it had to be made.

haha happens to me all the time

and because the twitching eye is so recognisable to me, i feel affection for this submission and feel the need to give it a nice review

and because it's been ages since i last reviewed 10/10

What the fuck

There was a cat waking up, then a hippo killed him, but not entirely. Whhoops there we are in a movie theatre. Cat tries to hold hands with bunny but the bunny disappeared.

More bunnies, this time wearing sars masks. Bunny number 1 waves flag with chinese words. Something about a cat shoving an unidentified object into the bunny. Then, a kiss.

Seriously, what the hell did I just watch?

Some plus points for animation and detail but I'm definitely not rating higher, this was a bit above my imagination or something.

Not too shabby, well, okay, it was shabby.

Nothing that can't be improved though. You seem to grasp the idea of tweening good enough, all was done on seperate layers and I saw no obvious glitches.

The biggest problem is that you seem to have made your entire background in MSpaint, and not the most detailed work either, I suggest you draw the background in Flash next time, there's way more possibilities to make it look better. IF, however, you do make it in MSpaint again, please note to export it as a .png file so you don't get the horrible JPG "bleeding" pixels.

Lastly a small note: his gun ran out of ammo so it clicked. Instead of just putting "*click*" above the gun in a pretty ugly standard font, try just finding a sound effect on the internet, and signaling there's something wrong with the gun with an exclamation mark, or a star or whatever would make it obvious there's something wrong.

Good luck!
